The collection consists of photographic negatives and contact sheets created by Gil Barrera from 1972 through 1978 while employed to photograph the physical complex and activities of the University of Texas at San Antonio. Among the subjects represented in the collection are construction projects, ceremonies, graduating classes, concerts, distinguished visitors, conference participants, students, professors, and members of the University of Texas administration and Board of Regents.
